| I have installed the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio Trial Edition but cannot find the application when I start Poweroint. Why? |
|
If you have downloaded and installed the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio you must restart your computer at the end of the installation prompt to allow all setup files to be completed and drivers to be loaded.
On restarting your machine and opening PowerPoint you are able to gain access to the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio. Dependent upon your installed version of PowerPoint, the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio will appear to you as illustrated in our Screenshots section.
If you are unable to see the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio in the ribbon section (PowerPoint 2007, PowerPoint 2010), or see the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio Toolbar (PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 2002, PowerPoint 2003) then your installation may not be correctly setup and Windows Registry Settings need to be updated. To correct your Windows Registry Settings simply close PowerPoint and launch the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Troubleshooter which can be located at:
Windows Start > All Programs > 123PPT > 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio > Troubleshooter
Running the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Troubleshooter will attempt to diagnose, repair and correct any errors in your installation or Windows Registry Settings and allow you to access and run your application correctly. |

| When I assign a playlist, sound effect or narration recording tn a slide, Slide Transition of Custom Animation it does not play. Why is that? |
|
When you use either the Insert Wizard, Edit Slide Music, Edit Slide SoundFX or 123PPT Music & SoundFX Narrator functions to add and insert a playlists, music, sound effects or voiceover narrations onto your PowerPoint slides, the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio creates a snapshot of where your audio is added and applied. Your audio does not play immediately to allow you to continue to work on your slides and presentation content in Normal View.
If when adding your playlists, music, sound effects and narration to your presentation in Normal View your audio was continually playing, your audio would become distracting and make writing and adding slide content unnecessarily difficult. For these reasons, your presentation audio only plays when you play your presentation and not while you are authoring your presentation and presentation content. |

| How can I play my presentation with my playlists, sound effects and voiceover narrations? |

As you know PowerPoint does not allow you to create or add playlists, synchronize sound effects, play multiple levels of sound, set auido effects such as fade in and fade out or record vocals and voiceovers. For these reasons we created the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio.
When you install the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio another module called 123PPT Play & Share is also installed. 123PPT Play & Share provides you with play back options as well as distribution options such as burn to CD-Rom, DVD and Blu-ray discs. When playing back your presentation with enhanced audio on the same machine where you have installed the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio you may use either of the 2 play back options found in the 123PPT Play & Share module to Play From Beginning, or to Play Your Presentation From Current Slide. |

| Why does my playlists, music, sound effects or narrations not play when I enter Slide Show View or press the (F5) key? |

PowerPoint alone does not allow you to create playlists, assign audio effects such as fade in and fade out, pan or crossfade, allow you to synchronize sound effects or record voiceovers and vocals for use as narration in PowerPoint presentations. For these reasons we created the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio. Selecting PowerPoint's built-in play back function, Slide Show View, or pressing F5 only allows PowerPoint to play your presentation as PowerPoint can and is able to display presentations. With limited audio and sound.
To play your PowerPoint presentation with playlists, audio effects settings, sound effects and narration you should use either of the 2 play back options provided in the 123PPT Play & Share module to Play From Beginning, or to Play Your Presentation From Current Slide.
If you wish to play your PowerPoint presentations with enhanced audio on other computers where you do not have the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio installed you can do so by installing the free 123PPT Presentations Player which is a free standalone player that allows you to play any PowerPoint presentation with playlists, narration and enahnced audio settings on any PC computer without need to license or purchase additional licenses of the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio. |

| Why can I not import my own MP3's, music files and sound effects in the Trial Edition? |

| What is the main difference between the Lite Edition and the Deluxe Edition? |

Whilst all the available editions of our software allow you to create playlists, add music, loop tracks or playlists, shuffle tracks or playlists and control all aspects of your presentation sound from fade in and fade out, to volume and pan settings, there are differences in functionality levels that distinguish license type and use to allow you to find the edition best suited for your presentation needs.
The Lite Edition is our entry-level license and allows you to import your own MP3's, CD music tracks, music files, sound effects, as well as professional presentation music loops and sound effects purchased from 123PPT.com. Once imported, your music files and sound effects become available as presentation audio files and can be used on as many slides and in as many presentations as you wish without any limitation.
While there is no limitation to the use of imported music and sound effects in your PowerPoint presentations with the Lite Edition license, you are limited to being able to import up to five (5) additional MP3, CD Music or music track files for use as presentation music. And up to five (5) additional sound effects for use as presentation sound effects before upgrade is required to be able to import more audio files.
The Deluxe Edition is the license of choice for presenters who require complete flexibility. As our premium license, the Deluxe Edition license allows unlimited import of your own MP3's, CD music tracks, music files, sound effects, as well as professional presentation music loops and sound effects purchased from 123PPT.com for use in your presentations.

In version 2.5 of the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio we have implemented many new features, updates and changes to the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio such as the ability to record voiceovers and vocals directly inside PowerPoint (Deluxe Edition only). Using the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Narrator you can not only record your voiceovers and slide narration but you can also crop and remove noise from your recordings.
The number of music track imports has also been increased from three (3) to five (5) in the Lite Edition and the number of sound effect imports likewise increased from three (3) to five (5).
Presentations can now be looped from the beginning or from any selected slide from within a set of PowerPoint slides to create custom presentations for events, meetings and trade shows.

| Can I upgrade from an earlier version of the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio? |

Yes but upgrade is not free.
If you have previously installed an earlier version of the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio on your machine and your free Trial Edition expired, then you may download and install the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio v.2.5 Trial Edition to gain a new free trial period of our latest product release.
If you have previously purchased a license for an older release of the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio then you should not download and install the latest 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio v.2.5 on your licensed machine. Installing the latest 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio v.2.5 Trial Edition on top of an existing licensed installation of the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio v.1.0, v.1.5, v.2.0, or earlier will overwrite your existing installed application and void your license.
If you would like to upgrade from an earlier version of the 123PPT Music & SoundFX Studio you may do so by selecting UPGRADE FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION from the right hand menu. |
