If you have downloaded and installed the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio you must restart your computer at the end of the installation prompt to allow all setup files to be completed and drivers to be loaded.
On restarting your machine and opening PowerPoint you are able to gain access to the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio. Dependent upon your installed version of PowerPoint, the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio will appear to you as illustrated in our Screenshots section.
If you are unable to see the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio in the ribbon section (PowerPoint 2007, PowerPoint 2010), or see the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio Toolbar (PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 2002, PowerPoint 2003) then your installation may not be correctly setup and Windows Registry Settings need to be updated. To correct your Windows Registry Settings simply close PowerPoint and launch the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Troubleshooter which can be located at:

| When I insert a video background on a slide it only shows a still image. Why is that? |
|
When you use either the Insert Wizard or Edit Slide Video functions to add and insert a video background onto your PowerPoint slide, the first frame of the video is displayed as a static image behind your content to allow you to continue to work on your slides and presentation content in Normal View.
If when adding your video background to your presentation in Normal View your video background was continually playing, your video backgrounds would become distracting and make writing and adding slide content unnecessarily difficult. For these reasons, your video backgrounds only play when you play your presentation and not while you are authoring your presentation and presentation content. |

| How can I play my presentation with video backgrounds? |

As you know PowerPoint does not allow you to add or play video backgrounds to PowerPoint slides. For these reasons we created the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio.
When you install the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio another module called 123PPT Play & Share is also installed. 123PPT Play & Share provides you with play back options as well as distribution options such as burn to CD-Rom, DVD and Blu-ray discs. When playing back your presentation with video backgrounds on the same machine where you have installed the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio you may use either of the 2 play back options found in the 123PPT Play & Share module to Play From Beginning, or to Play Your Presentation From Current Slide. |

| Why do the video backgrounds not play when I enter Slide Show View or press the (F5) key? |

PowerPoint alone does not allow you to add or play video backgrounds to PowerPoint presentations. For these reasons we created the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio. Selecting PowerPoint's built-in play back function, Slide Show View, or pressing F5 only allows PowerPoint to play your presentation as PowerPoint can and is able to display presentations. With static backgrounds.
To play your PowerPoint presentation with video backgrounds you should use either of the 2 play back options provided in the 123PPT Play & Share module to Play From Beginning, or to Play Your Presentation From Current Slide.
If you wish to play your PowerPoint presentations with video backgrounds on other computers where you do not have the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio installed you can do so by installing the free 123PPT Presentations Player which is a free standalone player that allows you to play any PowerPoint presentation with video backgrounds on any PC computer without need to license or purchase additional licenses of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio. |

The Lite Edition is our entry-level license and allows you to import your own video movies, clips and files, as well as professional video backgrounds purchased from 123PPT.com. Once imported, your video files become available as video backgrounds and can be used on as many slides and in as many presentations as you wish without any limitation. While there is no limitation to the use of imported video backgrounds in your PowerPoint presentations with the Lite Edition license, you are limited to being able to import up to five (5) video files for use as video backgrounds before upgrade is required to be able to import more video files for use as video backgrounds.
The Deluxe Edition is the license of choice for presenters who require complete flexibility. YouTube movies can be downloaded in any available screen resolution up to full broadcast quality High-Defintion (HD). Every YouTube movie can now be imported with its soundtrack or without sound.
The number of video imports has also been increased from three (3) to five (5) in the Lite Edition.
The 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio can now import QuickTime Movies (.MOV) for use as video backgrounds in PowerPoint presentations.

If you have previously installed an earlier version of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio on your machine and your free Trial Edition expired, then you may download and install the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio v.3.5 Trial Edition to gain a new free trial period of our latest product release.
If you have previously purchased a license for an older release of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio then you should not download and install the latest 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio v.3.5 on your licensed machine. Installing the latest 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio v.3.5 Trial Edition on top of an existing licensed installation of the 123PPT Video Backgrounds Studio v.3.0, v.2.5, v.2.0, or earlier will overwrite your existing installed application and void your license.
